back to the Finland case. OK where were we...Let me check..aha.. at the airport...ok...but then the next step is bus 615 and then 30 min later I'm in the city. Domiant buildings of the Opera house, Finlandia, the Kiasma Museum and and new buildings surround the whole city. The Central Station is also quite classic and dominant. That's the feeling, Haven't read so much about the architecture history of Helsinki and just know Alto and Leiviskä, my favprites. Artek, Morrimeko and the aarikka plus litalla are the my favorite design firms.

Nobel Textiles project

Thinking about new research and how can stuff end up to is always interesting. I got this link through a friend Chen-Pei. She is an industrial designer who is interested in textile and light.
"What do you get when you pair a scientific researcher with a textile designer? Designers fundamentally shape the way we live, while scientists pervade the very fabric of our lives. Nobel textiles involves a journey into the interface between science and design, a dialogue between leading researchers in both fields."

I think the relation between design and science as said above could create so many interesting new applications in life through time. Through the LINK there are more data about the idea.

Finland

Arrived at Helsinki Vantaa at 12:30, Finland's time. The airport is not that huge but the architecture of it speaks confident. The frame is gray and green. Green is the color of the glass and gray is all the other details. The towers have spacial geometry which look interesting. Lighting inside the biulding is quite mellow
